Local 1 Apprentice wins N.Y.S. Contest - (8/3/2011)

The New York State Pipe Trades Association sponsored the New York State UA Apprenticeship Contest from May 11th through May 14th, 2011. The contest was hosted by Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 21 in Peekskill, NY. It was an extensive contest, including practical projects and written examinations in each trade category, which took several days to complete. There were 23 competitors from 9 of the UA locals in New York State. These included Locals 1, 21, 22, 73, 112, 200, 267, 373, and 773.
