About the Funds
The Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Trust Funds is the umbrella organization responsible for administering the benefits provided to most members of Plumbers Local Union No. 1 through four separate funds:
- Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Welfare Fund,
- Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Employee 401(k) Savings Plan, and
- Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Trade Education Fund.
A joint Board of Trustees consisting of an equal number of union and employer Trustees governs these Funds. Participants plus their eligible family members are covered by these benefits.
The Fund Office is located at 50-02 Fifth Street in the Hunters Point section of Queens with a Training Facility in Long Island City/Sunnyside, Queens.
At 50-02 Fifth Street, the Fund Office offers a walk-in center in the 2nd Floor lobby to answer member questions about benefits. Members can also call the Fund Office at 718-835-2700 or Click on one of the four Trust Funds links.
