LOCAL 1 HOSTS BSA TROOPS 6 AND 192 FOR LABOR MERIT BADGE

On December 28 and January 15 respectively, scouts from Troop 6 in Glen Cove and Troop 192 in North Bellmore visited our Union Hall and Offices to earn the American Labor Merit Badge. Trade Instructors and Registered Merit Badge Counselors Dave Smalley and John Sullivan introduced the scouts to the fundamentals of organized labor, and Financial Secretary-Treasurer Freddy Delligatti guided the scouts on a tour of our building and shared some specifics about Plumbers Local 1. In attendance were Troop 192 Assistant Scoutmaster and Finance Committee Member Matt Grimes and his son, Matthew.
