Our Champs! Local 1 Softball Team Earns 3rd Place - (9/20/2011)

The Local 1 softball team earned Third Place at the UA National Softball Tournament in June.

Plumbers Local Union No. 1 Softball team, managed by Local 1 Journeyman George Malandrakis, made it to the championship and finished an impressive 3rd (behind Local 333 Lansing, Michigan and Local 392 Cincinnati, Ohio) in the "A" Division of the United Association's 34th National Softball Tournament. Congrats to Brother Malandrakis and the entire team of fine players!

To see the Tournament Championship Trophy in person, be sure and attend the September 21, 2011 Membership Meeting at 5:00 pm.
