John J. Murphy Honored at Wood-Heights Democratic Club Dinner Dance - (6/21/2012)

On behalf of the members of U.A. Plumbers Local No. 1, Business Manager-Elect John J. Murphy was honored at the Wood-Heights Democratic Club’s Ninth Annual Dinner Dance on Friday, June 15th, 2012 at Dante Caterers in Jackson Heights, New York. 

John was one of several distinguished Honorees, including New York City Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer and Alexander Hagan, President of the Uniformed Fire Officers Association, each applauded for their hard work and leadership.  Brother Murphy received an official Proclamation from the New York State Assembly.  

Brother Murphy was joined by his fellow Officers, local political leaders and approximately 500 guests.  The night was a success for the Wood-Heights Democratic Club and Local 1 is proud to have been a part of that success.
